Out of 3000 auditions, Meilanne Grandlund and just 3 other singers were given leading roles in the Dutch production of Miss Saigon. Meilanne spent the next decade in The Netherlands playing the role of Gigi Van Tranh (whose signature song “The Move In My Mind” is an absolute classic). 

During her career she also had major roles in musical productions and performances around the world, including in Japan, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
