Private Coaching

You’ve achieved the things you set out to accomplish — yet underneath, something doesn’t feel aligned. Resonate is a 12-month, one-to-one journey where you get to practice showing up and speaking as your most empowered, authentic self.

WHO IS Resonate For?

Resonate is for the person who has done everything right — the career, the credentials, the life that’s impressive from the outside — and wonders why it doesn’t feel like enough. You’ve become very good at showing up as the version of yourself the world rewards. Somewhere along the way, the sound of that version stopped matching what’s true underneath. This is for the high-achiever ready to close that gap.

Resonate Coaching for High Achievers

How It Works

Over 12 months, we work the opposite way to most coaching. We don’t start with your goals — we start by tracing how you speak back to what you believe, because the way you express yourself is where the old rules are hiding in plain sight.

Then we change them from the inside. At the same time, you will learn the mechanics of your voice, including the speaking habits that are limiting your communication and expression, and how to shift them.

This isn’t simply voice training. It’s personal development and empowerment work, delivered through the voice. As the internal landscape shifts, your voice — and then the way you live — starts to sound and look like you, instead of the version you’ve outgrown.

Through this work, your voice will resonate with the energy of your unique purpose and create waves of positive change for yourself and your people.

Are you a believer in the Law of Attraction? I am — and that belief led me to Krystal. Since meeting Krystal, she has been instrumental in my journey of transformation.

My goals were clear: enhance my presence, improve my presentation skills, and strengthen relationships. I thought the first step would be working on my voice, but Krystal showed me that transformation starts from within.

While I initially sought guidance for my external voice, Krystal enlightened me about the importance of the internal voice — the emotions and energy we carry. Her approach integrates both, helping me express myself authentically. Krystal is more than a voice coach; she’s a mentor, life coach, and listener who resonates deeply with her students. Krystal’s encouragement gave me the courage to grow and transform.

Krystal’s insights and techniques have been invaluable. Having a fresh perspective from someone who doesn’t judge but reflects honestly has been transformative. If you’re looking to evolve, not just your voice but your entire presence, I wholeheartedly recommend Krystal. She a guide for anyone aspiring to transform their life.

Bringing Your External Voice & Internal Voice
 Into Alignment

We all have multiple “voices”.

On the one hand, we’ve got the external voice, which is what people hear when we sing or speak.

The external voice includes components such as our tone, pitch, pacing, dynamics, etc.

We’ve also got our internal voice, which is our internal dialogue and it can go from being our greatest cheerleader, to our worst critic…sometimes in the same sentence!

Developing the internal voice without working on the external voice  (and vice versa) can lead to MISalignment in the way you show up and express yourself.

This misalignment is what makes success feel hollow and unfulfilling. It also directly impacts your ability to connect with, inspire and positively influence others.

I believe that when we engage in expressing our truth, and practice deep listening when others are expressing theirs, the world will truly be a better place.

I came across Krystal’s program by chance and was drawn to her structured and empowering approach to vocal coaching.  After going through her online course and attending a few coaching sessions, I noticed significant improvements in my vocal abilities. I realized I had been holding back my voice due to limiting beliefs.  At the same time, I felt misaligned and conflicted in both my work and home life. I was unhappy with how I showed up at work and struggled to express my true feelings at home, even prompting my young child to reflect my frustration back to me.

I joined the Resonate program to align my voice with my personal and professional aspirations and to enhance my storytelling abilities, which I felt lacked excitement.

I talk a lot in our sessions.  Krystal is a great listener. She often reflects what I say back to me, with thought-provoking and revealing questions that push me to think deeper about why I say certain things. Those questions have lead me to realise what my inner voice is saying, and how it is often confused, disempowering, and discouraging.

I look forward to our coaching sessions every week, as a time to align my inner voice with my vision for my life. Knowing that I have an upcoming session with Krystal keeps me motivated to sort through my thoughts and inner voice; it has kept me accountable.

What I appreciate most in her approach to coaching is that it is very natural, intuitive, and not forced. There were a couple of weeks initially when I wasn’t sure where I wanted my life to go. I didn’t have particularly huge goals for speaking or for sharing my voice. In those weeks, Krystal encouraged me to select a couple of songs that spoke to me, and as we worked on those songs, she helped me realise why they were speaking to me.

I jotted down this note in my journal:
– “I want each day I live to be a day I give the BEST of me.
– Show up as my best – attitude – open minded, positive, curious
– Give my best – effort, empathy, offer something to others
– My finest days are yet unknown
– I can be better – there’s always room for improvement
– I can look forward to being better – optimistic”

It was this realisation that catalysed a series of decisions for me. I realised that I was discontent and seeking change because I didn’t feel like I was showing up as my best self at home, at work, or in my community.

I also appreciate how Krystal has shared so many resources with me – books, podcasts, and other resources – which have helped me break through constraints in my thinking, and have given me a lot of clarity.

I was living on autopilot for a while. Since having kids, returning to Hong Kong from Cambodia, re-entering the corporate world, and living through the COVID bubble, I had let work and family obligations drive my days, which quickly turned to weeks, months, and then years. I had become resigned to living small, and time was passing by at a frightening pace.

Since working with Krystal, I have become more aware of the stories I tell myself which limit my life. I am more aware of the tone of my inner voice – whether it is expansive or discouraging, an old crutch I need to shake off, or a voice I need to embrace. I have gained the clarity to make significant adjustments to my life, including leaving my previous role, and starting my own consultancy.  I have also become more conscious of the energy I bring into my time with people, especially my children and spouse. I am still a work in progress, but I am more positive, hopeful, and empowered to live the life I desire.

A particular insight that has stood out for me is my understanding of my work ethic, and the stories I’ve told myself about it. From childhood, I’ve seen a model of life where one doesn’t deserve to seek enjoyment until after working hard. I’ve been taught to work hard and play hard, but not to play until after I work. Life is like a hard workout that I cannot enjoy or feel good about until the end, when I’m dripping in sweat and filled with endorphins.  Krystal helped me identify where this work ethic came from and appreciate that it has served a purpose, but it has also been a crutch to me finding enjoyment in the moment, a source of repeated burnouts, and a hindrance to truly tapping into a flow state. She helped me develop a few mantras to break from this limiting mindset, and enable me to decouple my inherent value and self-worth from effort.

Investing in personal alignment has been one of the best gifts I’ve given myself. As a working
parent in Hong Kong, it’s easy to let busy schedules dictate our lives. I would encourage anyone who is feeling out of sync with their values to seek support and evaluate their direction; it is infinitely worthwhile, and it could be a lot of fun!

It’s Time For Your Voice To Shine

What the Journey Looks Like: The SINGER Method

Our work together will follow a structured method I developed and teach in my book, The Empowered Voice. It's called The SINGER Method — and, despite my background, it's not about singing! It's a framework for uncovering the stories impacting the way you express yourself and communicate,  and rewriting them so they empower rather than limit you:

These steps unfold as four phases:

1. Alignment Assessment & Excavation: Through guided conversations, we listen for the signs of misalignment and surface the stories and beliefs running underneath (Spot · Identify · Name)

2. Rewriting the Story: A belief that once kept you safe doesn't have to run the rest of your life. We deliberately rewrite it into one aligned with who you're becoming. (Generate Alternatives)

3. Voice & Embodiment: Your voice doesn't just reveal your inner state — it shapes it. This is where the vocal craft comes in. You'll learn the actual mechanics of your voice (breath, resonance, projection, dynamics, etc) and how to use it with freedom and intention. At the same time, you will practice using your voice to rehearse the new story, so you're speaking and showing up as your empowered self across every arena of your life, until that becomes your natural default. (Embody)

4. Realignment & Integration. The change becomes self-sustaining and shows up on the outside — in your relationships, your work, your personal growth and goals. (Reinforce)

What You'll Walk Away With

You begin with a feeling of disconnect between the outer version of you and the inner one. You leave with them far more aligned — and with the ability to keep them aligned yourself. You'll be able to name what you actually want, and give yourself permission to want it. Your voice will sound like you, instead of the performative version of you. You'll catch the old stories when they try to reassert themselves — and interrupt them in real time. And your outer life — your relationships, your work, the way you take up space — will have started to move to match who you really are.

“Working with Krystal helped me align my inner and outer voice. I now speak up with clarity and calm, and even sing with confidence—something I never imagined. I feel lighter, more empowered, and excited to lead. I came to strengthen my voice for my work. I left with a stronger voice for my life.”

I was ready to step up in my business as a guide and mentor for women who feel their old identities no longer fit and who are seeking deeper meaning, purpose, and the courage to revive forgotten dreams. As a solopreneur who uses my voice constantly, I knew I needed support. Krystal’s approach drew me in immediately—her work is about aligning the inner and outer voice, not just singing.

I’ve always found public speaking challenging, and in my work I need to use my voice in many ways: sharing information, giving instructions, singing, chanting, and guiding groups into a meditative state. My goals were to:

  • Use all my “voices” in an empowering way
  • Communicate clearly in workshops and when networking
  • Create memorable group experiences with my voice
  • Uplift and empower others
  • Improve my personal communication

Krystal has also been instrumental in refining my recordings and video presentations. I wouldn’t have progressed this far without her.

What the Experience Has Been Like
The most powerful part of this journey has been aligning my inner and outer voice. In our very first session, I cried—her questions touched feelings I didn’t know I had. Around that time, I was also experiencing sudden dry throat, coughing, and even moments where my voice would seize up. I now see these as signs that my throat chakra was opening, and that the exercises were giving voice to a part of me that had been silenced since childhood.

It’s been terrifying and thrilling—“thrillifying.” I felt doubt, fear, and resistance, and Krystal guided me through with such care that I ended up singing songs I never imagined I could. Each session leaves me proud and eager for the next.

What’s Different Now
Personally, I’m able to speak up for myself without aggression—clear, calm, and grounded. Giving voice to the part of me that was silenced increased my self-confidence and self-belief.

Professionally, that confidence helped me step out of my comfort zone in small, consistent ways. I now meet challenges with curiosity and courage instead of backing down. I’m growing into the person I knew I could be.

Key insights and Surprises
One of the biggest surprises was realising how my inner landscape shaped my voice—my ability and willingness to use it. I can now see the patterns clearly. Knowing they’re old and no longer needed gives me space to let my inner voice speak and sing, to chant and hum, to soothe and calm—and to be fierce when she needs to be.

A Message to Others
Many of us were silenced as children, and as women we were taught to be “nice” and accommodating. If you feel a heaviness on your chest, have trouble being heard, or notice recurring throat tightness, dryness, or a tendency to lose your voice, it may be your inner voice asking to come out.

I highly encourage you to work with Krystal. You won’t just learn to use your voice—you’ll find yourself. You’ll feel lighter, more confident, happier, and more empowered.

WHO IS Resonate NOT For?

Resonate isn’t the right fit if you’re looking for quick tactics, a speaking-skills tune-up, or something to do passively on the side. This is deep, personal, year-long work — you’ll be supported every step, and you’ll be challenged to look at things you may have been avoiding. It’s for people ready to look within and make lasting change from the inside out.
